Olympic Trap Bar / Hex Bar

RAISED HANDLES: The Olympic Hex Trap Bar combines the flush handle of a regular hex bar with a raised grip handle to create a multifunctional specialty barbell. Crafted with 25mm knurled neutral handles that provide a firm, sturdy grip as you lift.

PERFECT DEADLIFT/ SHOULDER SHRUG: With the trap bar, basic movements such as the deadlift is much less technical. It’s easier to get into a good position with an upright torso and a flat back with a hex bar. Unlike with a regular bar, the trap bar doesn’t scrape your shins, your knees come further forward and your hips can sit lower. The hex bar’s is built for a neutral grip (palms facing in towards each other). A double-overhand pronated grip with a straight bar puts more stress and a weaker hold. Also perform farmers carries, Romanian deadlifts and even bench press with your trap bar.

AVOID LOWER BACK PAIN: Hex bars place less of the barbell load on the lower back in comparison to regular barbells. Being ‘inside’ the bar, the weight is closer to your centre of gravity, the deadlift bar load is distributed more evenly across the body, minimizing risk of injury.

MAX LOAD 320KG/700LBS: This hexagonal design, made to support a weight capacity of up to 320kg-pounds, allows you to lift safer, isolates certain muscle groups, and will last you a lifetime.
